Construction funding secured - July 2009

Construction of the Tread Lightly Caravan began in June 2009,   thanks to  financial support from Ministry for Environment (Sustainable Management Fund), Auckland City Council, Perry Foundation, Lion Foundation, Lotteries Commission and Department of Internal Affairs (Digital Community Strategy Fund).

 

So far, we have sufficient funds to build the trailer shell, add the graphics and construct a few of the key exhibits.   We still need additional funding to complete the exhibits and install  the solar heat generation and rainwater collection systems.  For more information please contact us.
